Dopper makes good quality water bottles in multiple sizes. They have plastic, metal and insulated variants. Their bottles are however not truly BIFL and have a tendency to break after a couple years of use. They do however allow buying parts of the water bottle (e.g. only the cap or only the bottle), for when some parts break or get lost. The Dopper water bottles come with a 5 year warranty covering regular use. They are also dishwasher safe under 65°C.

The main selling point of this company is their focus on ethics. They brand their company with a sustainability mission. As any watter bottle company, they want to reduce single use plastics and ocean pollution. They are also funding multiple plastic pollution reduction projects and clean drinking water projects, mainly in Nepal.

They also provide detailed 'Digital Product Passports', which provide full transparancy about where the products are made, what they are made from and what the carbon impact on the Earth is. Their bottles are made mostly from plant-based and recycled materials and their factories are entirely powered by renewable energy. Their original water bottle is manufactured in the Netherlands, while their other models are manufactured in China.

TL;DR

Overall, the water bottles are of a decent quality but will not last you much longer than the 5 year warranty that they come with. The company focuses on sustainability and succeeds in doing so.

I've not had the plastic bottles fail on me, but the metal ones have. Their bottles are ok but I would suggest getting other ones for the price.
