Columbia provides different warranties for different products but most of their products come with a 1 year warranty in the US and a 2 year warranty in EU. They claim a lifetime warranty for some select products, but carefully watch out if the product you buy actually falls under this warranty.

Their manufacturing process takes place in lots of countries over the world, but mostly in low wage countries. They provide a full, transparent overview of all their factories on their website. To reduce their impact on our planet, they use recycled materials where they can. This is the case for their actual products, but also most of their packaging consists of over 90% recycled materials. Other materials are responsibly sourced.

Based on their 2022 Impact Report, they have donated over 3 million dollars to charity in 2022, or around 0.1% of their net sales. They are also actively supporting lots of different projects with different goals. For example, their HERproject aims to support women in all parts of their supply chain and in collaboration with Planet Water Foundation they have completed 25 AquaTower projects resulting in clean drinking water for an estimated 46000 people.
